We fly to Kenya for medical camps with our highly motivated team at least twice per year. Medical Camps are practically free medical consultation and treatment periods where we treat and advise people in need. We are not reimbursed for wages, maintenance or travel expenses, but cater for all costs ourselves

LWAK MEDICAL CAMP 2023: Lwak Mission Hospital is located in Western Kenya, Siaya Province. The founder of Doki’s Advice comes from this area. During this , Daniel Ogutu travelled this time round with 2 doctors and 3 nurses. The helping hospital personell registered 120 Patients on the first day, Monday the 13th of November. Although over a hundred Patients were seen and treated, some of the patients had to sleep in the nearest church and wait to beset on the next day. All our services were 100% free on this mission: within 4 full days, over 750 adults and children were treated, all Exams were financial covered by us. A large briefing with the hospital staff was done on the last day. 3 Patients who were admitted through us got their hospital bills completely covered. In the week after in KISUMU we saw around 200 Patients. 46 Brain and Spine surgeries were done in Cooperation with Kisumu neuroscience initiative. For the first time in history we enjoyed the presence of a urologist and 3 Kenyan doctors trained in Germany. 8 Nurses from abroad joined us for the second trip. We Donated an CRP Device worth over $1000. The monthly medical bills of 6 patients for the whole year were covered in the Dokis Pamoja project!

LWAK MEDICAL CAMP 2022: Lwak Mission Hospital is located in Western Kenya, Siaya Province. The founder of Doki’s Advice comes from this area. In this camp, Daniel Ogutu traveled as the only doctor with 3 helpers (not from the medical field). It soon turned out that he was the only doctor in the entire area. The aim was to get to know the hospital and to understand their needs. All our services were 100% free on this mission: within 4 full days, 41 adults and children were treated, over 20 ultrasound scans were performed, several blood sugar and urine tests were performed, over 10 hours of staff training was spent on ECG, X-ray, ultrasound and intra-articular injections , 4 minor surgeries performed, 4 emergencies attended to (Unfortunately, we LOST a patient after being transferred to a maximum hospital) Donated an EKG machine worth over $1000, 2 blood glucose meters and 100 urine tests. The monthly medical bills of 6 patients for the whole year were covered in the Dokis Pamoja project!

It is a maximum care facility in Kisumu, Kenya, an East African country! Kisumu is one of the 3 largest cities in Kenya. In October, Daniel Ogutu traveled with 4 neurosurgeons and 2 nurses from Kisumu Neuroscience initiative. People in need received free head and spine surgeries that would otherwise have cost them millions. The entire operation was 100% free of charge and all doctors and nurses who traveled catered for their own costs. Dokis Advice took care of intensive care patients, emergencies, pre- and post-hospital preparation of neurosurgical patients by evaluating blood tests, EKGs, cardiac ultrasounds and physical examinations. A total of 37 patients were operated within 5 days: 8 craniotomy, 16 spinal surgery, 8 injections and 4 cervical spine & BWS surgeries performed. 2 patients died. Thank you for your donations.
